Stencil Giveaway!

3 stencils from Crafter's Workshop are being included in this giveaway. I did not forget them. I just couldn't find them in my stuff from the workshops. I haven't put away everything yet since I have school. They are the minis 6x6. They are the best things because they stay flat. I use them with the Smooch Spritz. You can also use them with the Tulip Fabric Spray Paints. They are the most fun. People were having a blast using them especially during my ATC class at Create Chicago. Clean-up is easy. Just use a little bit of soap and water and pat dry.

Just need to do one of two things to get your chance to win. I will use the random generator to pick a winner on Wednesday, September 7th.

1. If you are on Facebook, Go to the Crafter'sWorkshop page and "like" them. Come back here and tell me so I know to count you for the random generator. You can also tell me how you would use the stencils, if you are so inclined. Crafter's Workshop Facebook page

2. If you don't do Facebook, then just leave a comment to this post about how you already use stencils, what you would do with these stencils, or any new ideas you would like to see for stencils.

I will pick a winner using the random number generator on Wednesday, Sept. 7th. If you don't contact me by Sunday, Sept. 11th, then I will pick a new winner. My email contact link is in the right column. Good luck!

I was amazed to discover at the CREATE encaustic workshop that stencils can be used with wax… I am used to having them around for spray-painting when I need a design on something fast.

  11. I liked them on facebook. I have some deColourant that I have been wanting to try. I think a stencil would be a fun way to use it. I also want to do more with raised designs. I did that once or twice and really like the look.

I use stencils with thickened MX Procion dye and Shiva oil sticks. Sometimes I use them to make ThermoFax screens. The ones pictured look interesting, especially the branch.
