playing with hot glue

Click on the pict to make it larger. I got this idea from Cindy. I just got home and tried it. Took all but 10 minutes.
I took a hot glue gun and lots of sticks. I found some texture stamps and a Versamark pad. Yes, a little glue stuck to the wood mount but I snipped that off with a pair of sharp scissors. Figure it won't matter once I paint it. I might try some shoe polish, maybe some micaeous oxide.. How about that Perfect Pearls stuff? That works with UTEE. I did do two of them on orange felt with the hopes that the orange felt would melt a little. No such luck. I will put a heat gun to it and see what it does without melting too much glue. I will post agian later once they are painted.
You can tell that I don't clean my stamps that much.

I've got this on my list of things to try. Yours look great and I love the purses you made with the tortured felt.
