Disturbing Thoughts

When I was done, it was darker than I thought it would be. So the name of my piece changed.

It does look a lot better in person. I had to use the flash and that did not help any. You can click on the picts for a larger view. I took some close-ups so you could see the detail.

What I really like about this is that there is a lot to view when you look at it closely. You need to look at it more than once or you will miss something. There is always something to look at and ponder. Each little section tells it own story. You may not know what it is but then that is where you creativity kicks in. This is a piece that you not only have to look at but you will want to touch. My son keeps coming up to it and touching it and looking for what's underneath the layers. He keeps seeing different things every time he walks by.

Now that I have conquered a larger piece, I will go and work on my some of my other projects. Comments welcome. Have you challenged yourself lately?
