Instant coffee as paint

I started another background. 140#watercolor paper. Use gluestick and randomly stick text scraps and textures onto page. Don't know what that will look like yet. Leftover coffee all the whole thing for light staining. Use instant coffee that has been dissolved in a little bit of water. Generously apply instant coffe in random spots - allow to pool. Let dry completely. Instant coffee spots remain glossy when dry. Edges stuck to my hard board that I use on my art table.

This is great. I really like how it turned out! I have been wanting to try to paint using coffee stain, in different hues, as a watercolor. To make a monotone watecolor painting. Thanks for this idea too!
