This is a fun and simple technique for doodlers that I found on Robin Beam's blog. She has been with Ranger for a long time, I met her at CHA. Cool chica. Anyway, I a big-time doodler. I did the Zentangle thing for awhile but I like random doodling better. Robin has complete instructions on her blog. I started this last night and I just finished it while watching the new CSI. I knew that something was going to happen to Warrick.
The paper you should use should be card stock weight or heavier. Paper seems a tad too thin and might not hold up to the doodling. The background should be a nice contrasting color(s) to the black and white from the stamping and doodling. I found some swirly and other background stamps. I found some great circle stamps with little dots awhile back.
You can get the white opaque pen from Frances at heartsintouch.com. Her email is fnaeve@heartsintouch.com. The architectural type swirly stamps were some foam stamps I got awhile back.Don't know who they are from. The circle dots and spots are from Inkadinkadoo. They are clear UM. The heart stamp from Stampington. Journey stamp is Tim Holtz.
Just doodle, outline, dot. The technique is to try the bandanna technique on some level. The challenge is to use it in a piece. It does not matter what. Just put it in an ATC, inchie, tag, whatever and put a focal image on it. Put it in the Mixed Media Art Friends Photo section under June Challenge. I will pick a winner at random at the end of June for a goodie bag.

I really love this, Belinda! I'm glad you are continuing to create while you are grieving. I know from my own major losses in the past few years just how much our art helps us. Hugs to you :)
This is cool, very similar to the doodling and outline I used for my paper crown. I'll have to try this.
