Buyer Beware!

Being an Asian woman with allergies, I have bags underneath my eyes. I have had this problem since I was a kid. No matter what eye cream I have tried, I have not had much success. Now that I am in my 40's, the problem is not getting better. Anyway, I heard this promo for an under the eye cream that was supposed to be fab to try for shipping only for 30 days. You could use the whole thing and return the bottle and cancel within the 30 days. Well, I thought I would give it a shot. I would only lose the shipping. I am not going to name this product. I will tell you that this eye cream is not cheap. Some eye creams run about $20 or so a tube. Some can run about $100 a tube. This one would cost me about $500 a year, if I decided to keep it. Outrageous! It better be some fantastic cream! My baggy eyes better be smoother than butter!

Well, I tried it and it didn't do much of anything for me that the $20 eye creams couldn't do. I didn't notice that much of a difference. So, I called to return it. I was asked by the customer service girl when I received it. I thought it was a few weeks ago. She told me that it was a specific date according to the post office delivery confirmation. I missed it by a couple of days. The invoice said that I would not be charged by a certain date. I was calling well before that date! I would have called much sooner if I had known that! Well, I could not confirm when exactly I got the cream because I did not keep the box it came in. I just kept the cream boxes and all the paperwork. I was pretty sure that I had not had the cream for a month though. I was only a couple of days outside this window. Well, I wanted to speak with a manager because I wanted that RMA! I did not want the cream because it did not work. I eventually got to return the cream and will not get charged for this cream. I won't pay for it. So, I returned it with delivery confirmation with their RMA #.

So, buyer beware. If it is too good to be true, then it usually is. There are good eye creams out there for me. I just haven't found them yet.

Hey Belinda, sorry you've had to deal with this. Advice from the "been there done that" file...keep REALLY good notes about whom you spoke with and when and what you were told. If they try to bill you don't hesitate to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office. The more info you have, the better, but they WILL help you. And they are usually successful. Good luck!

Hey, I feel your pain. My mom and I have tried soooo many, that we don't even buy them anymore. A long time ago, the dermatologist told me that only heavy makeup would fix these circles. Whenever I use the makeup, it reminds me of a reverse racoon.
Let me know if you ever find anything.

Hi Belinda-

I have bags under my eyes too and I have found a product that works better than most. It's Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller by Garnier Nutritioniste.

It doesn't take the bags away completely but it does improve the appearance better than any other product I have found. Let me know if you use it and how it works for you.

Hi Belinda, my puffyness is on my eyelids, have not tried this but I have heard that Prep H (for hemorrhoids ) can reduce under eye puffyness. Sorry you had to go thru all that rigamorole.
Good Luck

Belinda, I am beginning to get them under my eyes and I swear by Preparation H. Don't laugh - it's a Hollywood make-up trick and it works. TRY IT, it's not expensive and is safe for skin for sure (just don't get it in your eyes, and dedicate one tube to use only on your face, lol).

xoxo,
