- Reading Interventionist by day and mom 24 hours a day. When I am not teaching, being mom, or being a wife, I am creating art. I am mainly a fabric, collage, metal, art jewelry, and Dremel Artist. What transports me when I read fiction are the characters whom I can love and become involved with. when I read non-fiction it is the subject and the style of writing-nothing too pedantic!

When not reading artsy how-to books I like to read fantasy books, preferably dragons, wizards, sometimes vampire. I like to be taken away to a place that is not like reality. I think we have enough 'reality' everyday.
I enjoy stories that give the reader insight into the characters' minds and their relationships. People are complex and ever-fascinating to me, which is probably why I love to people-watch.
